“Desperate to pump out a flooded basement. Not a high ticket insurance claim item. Took a chance and called Atlantic (N.K.A HOUZPITAL). Carlos called, showed up in less than an hour, and went right to work with the pumps. It was more complicated than we thought, and he set us up with another contractor who could do what he wasn’t equipped to do. (Snake the main drain). Contractor also showed up when he said he would. Carlos also left a dehumidifier overnight to dry out as much as possible. Amazing contractor. Lose the number for Servpro. This company is awesome!”

“I woke up in the middle of the night to discover it was “raining” in my kitchen. I called Greg at Atlantic Restoration (N.K.A HOUZPITAL) around midnight not having a clue what to do. He gave me on the spot directions to minimize damage and arrived by 7 am. An ice dam had damaged the entire back end of my house which was unlivable. “We had a water heater break in our semi-finished basement and by the time I found it, water had spread across the floor under our tiles and soaking the wall to wall carpet. The insurance company had recommended Atlantic Restoration (N.K.A HOUZPITAL) when we called them. Very pleased with the referral. Ryan was very thorough. He explained everything in detail, arranged for the carpet to be removed right away, movers to take out and store all our furniture and belongings, arranged for a contractor to remove items that needed to be removed for the floor to be taken out, and set up the equipment to dry out the basement. The tiles were asbestos, so he arranged everything to have them removed safely. He is working with the insurance company for most of the expenses. Unfortunately, the asbestos was in enough of the stairs that go down to the basement that they had to be removed as well and Ryan was able to arrange for a carpenter to replace the steps. He was there for me every time I had a question or started to get nervous about things, even on his day off. There are still a couple more things that need to be done but with almost all completed, I can say Ryan went above and beyond for this process. Thank you Atlantic Restoration (N.K.A HOUZPITAL) and especially Ryan for being there and getting us through a rather stressful situation.”
